Objects and props

We will require some props to make our film more realistic. These include simple things such as mise-en-scene and clothing, but also range to physical props such as phones.

The actors playing Rosalyn and Francis will be required to wear black suits and ties with a white shirt to show how superior they are to other characters. The suit is a symbol of intelligence and occasionally authority, so other characters will be more likely to feel intimidated by these characters if they are wearing a suit.

Rosalyn and Francis communicate with each other by mobile phone in the opening two minutes; therefore we will have to use a phone. We have acquired a mobile that does not work to use in our filming.

The leader of the revolutionaries will be required to have a fake gun to show their power over the others and also portray them as a dangerous person.

One of the revolutionaries will be required to have a fake bomb to further enforce the idea that they are dangerous; it also gives Rosalyn an incentive to stop them. We might be unable to create a real-looking bomb for a variety of reasons (i.e. personal/public safety; time constraints) so we may use a plain-looking cardboard box which the audience does not know the contents, giving it an air of suspicion.

The other revolutionaries may or may not hold short swords or knives to show that they are armed and dangerous.
